為什么重視戶外學習的空間?
Why take learning outdoors?
戶外學習與活動是孩子健康成長和良好性格塑造的重要組成部分。英國教育監管機構 OFSTED 在2008年的一份分析戶外學習影響的報告中總結道:“如果計劃和實施得當,戶外學習對提高學生的綜合水平、改善學生的性格、社交和思維都有顯著的影響。”Outdoor learning is an integral part of children's healthy growth and development of good character. As was concluded by OFSTED, the UK educational regulatory agency in a 2008 report analysing the impact of outdoor learning, when planned and implemented well, learning outside the classroom contributes significantly to students personal, social and emotional development.
FCG 擁有200 畝教學用地,與其說是校園,它更像是教育村或社區。我們在滿員招生的情況下(2200人),人均可用面積約 60 平方米,能提供的床位共1400個。即便不在教室內,孩子也有很多戶外空間開展學習與活動,身心都能得到健康發展。Covering an area of 200 acres, FCG is more like an educational village than a campus. In the case of full enrollment (2200 students), the per capita available area is about 60m2, which can provide a total of 1400 beds. There are plenty of outdoor spaces for learning and activities, making sure that children can develop both physically and mentally.

小學樓騎樓空間
Primary School(PS) Overhang Space
廣州的建筑形式很大程度上受到當地氣候的影響。FCG 的校園設計把“騎樓”式廊道融入其中,陰涼的廊道空間,在任何天氣下都可以滿足學生的戶外活動需求。如馬術拓展課、踢足球、自由奔跑等。The architecture in Guangzhou is greatly influenced by the local climate. FCG's campus design incorporates an "arcade" style corridor: a shaded area that allows students to enjoy outdoor activities in any weather, such as Equestrian Enrichment courses, football, running and so on.
初中樓廊道空間
Middle School(MS)
初中樓首層的廊道空間采取架空設計,陰涼且南北對流,通風好,同時減少了對空調的依賴,倡導環保。非常適合廣州地區亞熱帶季風氣候特點(氣溫高、日照多)。在這里,我們經常舉辦 House 活動,學術成果展,單元探究活動、涂鴉等。In response to the subtropical monsoon climate in Guangzhou, the design of the MS includes a large covered area on the first floor which is cool and with good air flow making a perfect space for House competitions, academic exhibitions, exploration activities and large art project. The reduced need for air conditioning brings an environmental benefit.
高中樓的綜合空間
Senior School(SS)
作為 FCG 標志性的建筑,高中樓大廳內我們預留了寬廣的空間和設計了一條高低錯落的樓梯,師生們能圍坐在一起觀看學術成果展示,也可以在這里舉行舞會,節日集會等As the landmark building of FCG, the SS features innovative staircases which span the central atrium providing a naturally lit and welcoming space for exhibitions, social gatherings and celebrations.
無邊草地
The wide meadow
“像建造城市一樣建造學校。” 除了滿滿的實用性,我們更需要一點浪漫來點綴這座“教育城市”。在大劇院前面我們設計了一片無邊際草地,四周配有專業的戶外燈光與音響, 可以舉行露天活動,為學子創造豐富的社交機會。In front of the PAC, a large open area of lawn and lush planting with professional outdoor lighting and high-quality sound systems provides a wonderful space for open-air events.
生態種植園
Eco-Gardens
FCG 擁有 2 個生態種植園,一個位于幼兒園園區,另一個位于中學樓南邊。學子們能在這里進行耕作實驗和生態觀察,與大自然親密接觸。Eco-gardens in EY and MS allow students to experience first-hand the wonders of growing food from seed, observing wildlife and conducting experiments in nature.
