Springer老師本科畢業于澳大利亞莫納什大學(Monash University)應用化學與物理專 業，后于學府墨爾本大學(University of Melbourne)取得了教師資格以及環境工程專 業的碩士學位，并開始教授化學與物理學科，在澳大利亞、馬來西亞以及中國擁有超過25年的一線科研及教學工作經驗。曾任職于大型跨國企業，從事醫療及科學儀器相關工作，他擅長將較真實的科學帶入課堂，分享并啟發學生們。目前他是蘇州外籍人員子女學校IB部高中化學及小學科學專任教師，擅長IB及IGCSE科學及數學科目教學。 他善于通過解剖分析問題的相關性來引導并鼓勵學生學以致用，將所學的理科知識與技能應用到實際問題解決中。作為中學部教學主任，他致力于進一步推進老師們對相應學科的基礎概念及探究教學法的推廣。 Mr. Springer has more than 25 years of technical and scientific training and teaching experience in Australia, Malaysia and China. His educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with majors in Chemistry and Physics from Monash University in Melbourne, a Graduate Diploma in Education qualified to teach Chemistry and Physics, and a Master degree in Environmental Engineering – the latter two courses studied at the University of Melbourne, Australia. After working for pharmaceutical, medical and scientific instrumentation multinational corporations, he has brought real-world industrial experience to the classroom. Mr. Springer inspires students to learn and apply knowledge and analytical skills in science and mathematics classes by demonstrating the relevance of the problem that needs to be solved. In his role as Middle Years Programme Coordinator(MYPC) at EtonHouse International School Suzhou, his focus is to drive teachers to deliver concept and inquiry-based lessons.
