Ms. Nonis has worked with children aged 0 – 6 years for the past 18 years in Singapore and Shanghai. Despite graduating with Bachelor of Science degree, she quickly realised that her passion lay in the classroom. From there she went on to obtain qualifications in Preschool Teaching and Speech & Drama for young learners as well as a Master's degree in Education Specialising in Leadership, Policy and Change from Monash University in Australia. Over her years with a bilingual preschool in Shanghai, she had the privilege of being involved in the set-up of their second campus as co-Principal, working to build and guide a brand-new team and grow the school into a thriving, warm, safe space for students to learn and develop. Her keen interest in inquiry-based learning pushed her to exploring and engaging in IB courses, which eventually led her to EtonHouse International School, Suzhou as Early Years Coordinator. Ms. Nonis believes in student-centred learning, the freedom for children to explore and create, as well as the importance of being able to appreciate differing views and ideas. She strives to build strong partnerships with families in an effort to bring out the best in students.
